The Montana High School Rodeo Association Finals begin Thursday at Majestic Valley Arena, and the bull riding is one event with a lot of area athletes.
Browning’s Tahj Wells leads the standings going into the finals, with Octavius Christianson second. Browning’s Kas Whiteman, Ronan’s Clay Koehler and Whitefish’s Korbin Baldwin take up spots 3-5 as well, and another Browning product, Chase Blue, is in the top 10.
If any high school is over-represented at the three days of performances, it might be Browning: Wells is seventh in the all-around; Wace Wiliams is fifth in the bareback standings; Randon Boyce, Wells and Jesse Racine sit second, third and seventh in the saddle bronc.
