PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles School District has named Jennifer Rogers as its director of Career and Technical Education.

Rogers will oversee CTE programs at Port Angeles High School, Lincoln High School, Seaview Academy and Stevens Middle School.

Rogers is replacing Shanna Coleman, whose appointment as principal of Jefferson Elementary School was announced last month.

Rogers has been with the district for 14 years, starting as a CTE teacher at Port Angeles High School, then serving as the district’s CTE coordinator.

Most recently she was the assistant director of Career and Technical Education.

She also has coached the girls basketball team at Port Angeles High School.
