EL CENTRO — A Corfman Elementary School teacher was placed on administrative leave after a student reported having been asked intimate questions.

According to Imperial County Sheriff's Office activity logs, the case was reported at 2:01 p.m. on June 2. A reporting party requested options after her 13-year-old daughter told her father the band teacher at Corfman School has been asking the juvenile about what type of undergarments she wears beneath her shirt.

According to the logs, the teacher has also been asking other intimate questions.

The logs show the student takes private saxophone lessons from the teacher but is accompanied by an adult.

Corfman School Principal Isaac Leon also reported the incident, the logs read.

Deputies arrived at the school at 2:52 p.m. and met the reporting
