COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Thursday morning! More clouds to begin the day with some areas of patchy dense fog possible and even a light sprinkle. Temperatures start the day near 70 with a warm up expected in the forecast.

Staying mostly cloudy throughout the morning and into the afternoon with temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 80s. A few spotty afternoon showers and rumbles of thunder will be possible, but the chance is very low.

Tonight cloudy and mild once more with readings near 70. Friday will see a similar forecast for Thursday – maybe just a tad warmer in the afternoon.
