It's easy to see why Netflix's latest series Ginny & Georgia is being compared to Gilmore Girls . The story centers on a young, single mom (Brianne Howey) and her precocious teenage daughter (Antonia Gentry) who move to a beguiling New England town and subsequently find themselves involved in an array of dramas and love triangles. The show, created by Sarah Lampert, even acknowledges these comparisons. “We’re like the Gilmore Girls, but with bigger boobs," Georgia says in her perky Southern accent in the first episode.
