After a scary collapse during Monday night’s game against the Dodgers , Mark Vientos was put on the ten-day Injured List with a hamstring strain. At the time, there was no sense of the severity of the strain, but tonight the Mets announced that Vientos’s strain was only a low-grade one . He is expected to restart baseball activities after 10-14 days of treatment.

Vientos hurt his hamstring running out of the box in the tenth inning of last night’s victory over the Dodgers and needed to be piggy-backed onto the field for the team’s post-game celebration.
