Sir Rod Stewart has cancelled another date of his Las Vegas residency under doctor’s orders.

The rock veteran, 80, had been due to take to the stage on June 5 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and has yet to confirm a new date.

Sharing the health update on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the Maggie May singer wrote: “I'm awfully sorry to have to cancel my show June 5th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

“My doctor ordered a bit more rest while I recover from the flu . Thanks for your love and understanding.”
