TEXARKANA, Ark. (KATV) — The Arkansas Department of Corrections released information concerning a new escapee from a unit in Texarkana.

Antarian Wright, 30 years old, has been detained at the ADC Texarkana Regional Correctional Center (TRCC) since 2018. He is a black male serving 15 years for aggravated robbery and theft by receiving out of Columbia County.

Wright was with the Texarkana Work Release Center, working at the Baking Company at 2700 E. 3rd Street in Hope.

He was not at his job site when the staff arrived around midnight, Wednesday, June 4th. Wright was last seen on camera leaving the bakery at 9:30 p.m. in a grey Ford Focus with a woman last known to live in Texarkana. Wright was wearing a black hoodie.

Wright would have been eligible for parole in 2028.
