The investigation into Madeleine McCann's disappearance which has taken place this week, is estimated to have cost nearly half a million pounds, as the final day of search continues.
Around 60 officers have taken part in the search of a series of abandoned buildings in the countryside near to Praia de Luz, Portugal, which has seen officials using tools such as strimmers, diggers and pickaxes to investigate the area.
The most recent investigation into the missing child comes 18 years after she vanished from her family's holiday apartment in the Algarve.
Estimations into the total cost of the investigation is around £300,000 according to the Times, who have also stated today (June 5) could be the last day of the search if nothing of significance is identified.
