FRANKLIN, Mass. (WLNE) — Mourners in Franklin are holding a vigil for two residents killed in a car crash.

38-year-old Minaben Patel and her five-year-old daughter Krisha were both killed as the result of a car crash on May 24 .

According to police, the driver of the other car, 21-year-old James Blanchard, had multiple containers of alcohol in his car and was well over the legal limit.

That vigil will be held at the site of the crash at 6 p.m.
