Yesterday Grand Junction ended up seeing a lot of precipitation yesterday, as moisture build near the Four Corners region was carried over the mountains. Significant clearing in the early afternoon allowed energy to build up in the atmosphere to support heavier rainfall throughout the evening. We ended up seeing 0.21" of rain, alongside the strongest gust recorded at 47 mph!

Today represents another relatively volatile day in the forecast day for Grand Junction, where clearing in the morning and afternoon will be a big indicator of how much rainfall we will get.
