NORTH CHARLESTON — Days after a woman was shot at and injured during a "road rage dispute," area police are seeking the public's help to find witnesses and identify the shooter.
Just after 5:30 p.m. June 3, officers responded to the Sunoco gas station at 4908 Ashley Phosphate Road in reference to an assault, according to an incident report. Upon arrival, police were met by a 26-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. She told the officers she'd just been shot at while driving on Dorchester Road.
As the woman had been driving down the road near Patriot Boulevard, a dispute arose between her and another vehicle over erratic driving, according to a news release.
