SCIENCE HILL, Ky. (FOX 56) — One man is in the hospital after a Wednesday shooting in Science Hill.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office said deputies found a man who had been shot at the scene. He was taken to an area hospital to be treated.

The severity of his injuries is not known at this time.

The sheriff's office said it believed this to be an isolated incident, and the public is not in danger.

No persons of interest have been announced.
