More widespread storms are expected to push into the area after midnight, with the storm system tracking east across southern Kansas into southern Missouri, the weather service said.
“Given the anticipated track, the best chances for storms will be the southern half of the forecast area, mainly along and south of the Missouri River,” the weather service said.
