Hi! My name is Andrew Miller and I've just started my internship at The Herald-Times. I'm going into my senior year at Indiana University next fall. It’s my first time staying over summer in Bloomington, and I’m loving it so far. Even though school is out, there’s still so much to do around town. Turns out that this weekend will have quite a lot to do, from the main events of the Granfalloon Festival , to the Bloomington Handmade Market’s Summer Fair and, if you so desire, fishing for free.

Granfalloon Festival

This is the Granfalloon Festival’s big weekend, with concerts, talks and a dance party swarming around IU’s campus. The event is weeks-long, but the main stage concert will be this Saturday, June 7.

The largest will be a concert with headliner Mavis Staples
