ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KALB) - Patrick Seth Greene, the Opelousas man arrested following the stabbing of a 6-year-old child, has now been charged with eight counts of attempted first-degree murder in addition to his original charges, according to the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.
SLPSO said they received the call on June 1 about the child, who had injuries to the face, neck and chest areas. The child was taken to a hospital in Opelousas, then airlifted to a hospital in Baton Rouge with life-threatening injuries.
Patrick Seth Greene, 37, was arrested. SLPSO said he was combative with officers but was taken into custody and charged with domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, two counts of aggravated assault and resisting an officer.
