Tramell Tillman only has a few key scenes in Mission: Impossible -The Final Reckoning, but the brother steals every minute he’s on camera. As Commanding Officer Jack Bledsoe, who’s leading a submarine fleet that Ethan Hunt stows away on, he’s giving us buffed and charged energy through and through.

“Captain Bledsoe is really oblivious to what Ethan’s mission is when he shows up,” he told EBONY. “But he gets pulled in and is left to decide if he believes this man. If he does, Ethan can go forward with the mission.”

Getting to play those short but pivotal scenes could have seemed like a literal impossible mission, given Tillman’s other gig. But just like Hunt, the Severance actor put a plan in play to make it work.
