MEDORA, ND (KXNET) — If you head west from Bismarck, in just over two-and-a-half hours you'll stumble upon Buffalo Gap Guest Ranch and the Golberg family. From the ranching lifestyle to being a firefighter and leader, Mark Golberg prides himself on stepping up for his community.

“For the last 6 or 7 years, between the Medora Fire Department Beach-Golva and Sentinel Butte, we just rotate them. So, that's what we do, we show up, play softball, have fun,” says Golberg.

To help fuel some of North Dakota's fire departments, Golberg stepped up to the plate. “How about softball, that kind of sounds like a fun idea," Golberg said.
