CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A reported assault is under investigation in Cape Girardeau.

According to police, a victim told investigators they were being physically assaulted by two males and one of the suspects pointed a gun at them.

This reportedly happened around 8 p.m. on the 1200 block of Bloomfield Road on Wednesday, June 4.

Police said both suspects were taken into custody, pending formal charges.
