Assiniboine College welcomed 40 high school students to an immersive field day experience on Wednesday morning at the college’s North Hill campus that was focused on horticulture, environmental sciences and agriculture.
“Experiencing the campus and program activities first-hand helps students envision their future and explore the many training opportunities we offer,” said college recruitment manager Paige Jaenen in a press release.
“With industries like agriculture and environmental management evolving rapidly, activities like this introduce students to the exciting and essential careers that could lie ahead and how Assiniboine can help them get there.”
