For the first time ever, the Troup County School System HR department hosted a Substitute workshop this week to provide our outstanding substitute teachers with training, support, and appreciation for everything they do for our students in the classroom. We were thrilled to have 91 substitutes in attendance, including several who have served TCSS for over 30 years.
The workshop featured an informative presentation on do’s and don’ts, updates on procedures, and a couple of assistant principals & school secretaries shared their insights and support while providing helpful tips and encouragement. Attendees were given gift bags from TCSS and THINC College & Career Academy as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
