COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The Columbus Crew will enshrine the fourth member of its Circle of Honor this summer and it's the club's only MLS MVP winner.
The club announced that Argentinian midfielder Guillermo Barros Schelotto will be recognized as a member of the Crew Circle of Honor, joining Sigi Schmid, Schelotto's manager with the Crew, and teammates Frankie Hejduk, and Brian McBride.
Barros Schelotto will be inducted during the Crew's July 19 game at Lower.com Field against D.C. United. Due to his responsibilities as head coach of Argentine club Atletico Velez Sarsfield, he will be unable to attend the ceremony.
