A man is in critical condition after allegedly being shot by a hotel manager in South Jackson.

According to Jackson Police Detective Tommy Brown, the shooting happened Wednesday afternoon at the OYO hotel after a heated argument.

Detective Brown said the victim had been hanging out at the hotel and the manager asked him to leave. This escalated and the two got into an argument.

The hotel manager then allegedly shot him. The victim was transported to the hospital, and the manager was arrested.
