MARINE PARK — A ROOF PARTIALLY COLLAPSED at a two-story building on Quentin Road and 32nd St., early Thursday morning, killing one, CBS News reports . The collapse, to which the FDNY responded around 8:45 a.m., reportedly happened while three workers were installing new refrigeration units in a closed restaurant. The victim, age 43, was pinned under a concrete slab, and was brought to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition before passing away.

Several emergency vehicles and fire companies were on the scene. FDNY officials identified the emergency as a “setback collapse,” meaning it happened in the rear of the building at 3123 Quentin Rd.

The two-story building appeared to be the premises of the now-closed T Steakhouse, which, according to on-scene News 12 reporter Edric Robins
