A federal appeals court yesterday rejected a request from regime lawyers that it let the regime continue to slash federal education funds for Somerville and other cities across the country.
The ruling by the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit upholds a preliminary order by a judge in US District Court in Boston barring the former wrestling executive now in charge of what's left of the Department of Education from simply dismantling funding programs worth hundreds of millions of dollars - and programs ensuring special-needs students get the help they need - simply on the say so of the Taco King as what is now a combined lawsuit by Somerville, Easthampton, teachers unions and a number of states proceeds through the court system.
