TriStar Pictures has announced early development on a sequel to One of Them Days , the breakout comedy starring Keke Palmer and SZA . The two leads are expected to reprise their roles, along with the film’s original creative team. Plot details have not yet been revealed.

Directed by Lawrence Lamont and written by Syreeta Singleton, One of Them Days debuted back in January and became a box office success , grossing over $50,000,000 globally. According to Variety , the film also performed well on streaming, landing on Netflix’s Top 10 for three consecutive weeks. Critically, it earned a 94 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
