NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The man long considered to be Nashville's Most Wanted fugitive has been arrested, the Metro Nashville Police Department announced.

Dadiri Muhina, 24, was taken into custody by MNPD TITANS Unit detectives Wednesday, June 4, on five outstanding grand jury indictments. He is currently jailed at the Downtown Detention Center on a $300,000 bond for four counts of 1st degree murder and one count of evidence tampering.

Muhina was wanted in connection to a September 2021 shooting death of 16-year-old Ja'Niya Birdsong that also injured a 17-year-old.

Family members previously told News 2 multiple young men were involved in an argument with the two teens before shots rang out.
