WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Rep. Harold “Hal” Rogers (KY-05) voted to reauthorize the Substance Use Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment (SUPPORT) Act, which was first signed into law in 2018 by President Trump. The legislation has expanded access to treatment and recovery opportunities, opened the door for more work-to-recovery programs, and, according to Rogers, is effectively turning the tide on the nation’s drug overdose crisis.
