“Pink Pony Club” is becoming a big part of the Edmonton Oilers’ Stanley Cup run, to the point that even Wayne Gretzky is hearing of it.

Chappell Roan’s hit has served as the Oilers’ win song throughout this year’s run , which has caught on with the Edmonton fan base in large fashion. Gretzky, however, seemed to be in the dark about it, but that all changed last night.

Gretzky was in Edmonton with the entire TNT crew for Game 1 versus the Florida Panthers. As Paul Bissonnette brought up “Pink Pony Club” post-game, it totally confused the 64-year-old hockey legend.

“Pink Pony. Is that a band or is that a song?” asked a befuddled Gretzky.

Bissonnette explained the situation to Gretzky, who then joked, “Pink Pony. I gotta get that [as] my ringtone.”
