RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A new tool needed to fight cancer and provide advanced cancer care is coming to South Hill, according to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center and VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital can help celebrate the milestone with cancer patients and their care providers, as per a Thursday release from the university.
The ribbon-cutting, which will take place at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, at the Solari Radiation Therapy Center, will introduce the HyperSight TrueBeam radiation therapy machine.
