A Tiffin man was arrested this week on charges that he stole and resold about $60,000 worth of construction equipment and medical equipment while working as a contractor at the University of Iowa Hospital North Liberty Campus.

Kevin Grimm, 56, is charged with first-degree theft and ongoing criminal conduct. According to criminal complaints, he worked for the hospital as a contractor during the construction of the North Liberty facility, which opened in April .

Between the beginning of this year and May 25, a criminal complaint says Grimm stole $60,000 worth of construction and medical equipment from the hospital, and resold it online on sites like eBay and Facebook Marketplace.
