La Familia High School celebrated the 91 seniors in the Class of 2025 during their graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 4.
Held at Desert Mirage High School, the ceremony began with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Russell Silva, followed by student speakers Roxane Ojeda and Emily Cabral, who each took a moment to address their peers.
Several students were honored with scholarships and awards recognizing academic achievement, leadership and community service.
Yvette Patino was honored by the Rotary Club of Coachella Valley, Cabral was awarded both the Coachella Valley Community Trust and the Schools First scholarships. Ojeda also earned the Walter Clark Public Service Scholarship and the Frank Howard Award. Aaliyah Castro was recognized with the Lupe Alvarez Award.
