LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- Early morning thunderstorms ignited in southwest Utah before dawn. Some of that cloud cover sagged southwest into Clark County, bringing rain and vivid lightning to the Moapa Valley. Mesquite picked up .35" of rain. The storms have all now weakened and are sliding east into northern Arizona. Moisture and sunshine will again cook up thunderstorms across areas of Southern Nevada by Thursday afternoon, and Las Vegas could see storms mid-afternoon to early evening.
