SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - The Miracle League of Western Massachusetts is celebrating its tenth anniversary and, with the spring season in full swing, one parent is discussing how league has impacted his family in the best way possible.
The Miracle League of Western Massachusetts is a baseball league for boys and girls between the ages of 4 to 19 with physical or cognitive challenges. Ian Wagoner and his family have been a part of the league since 2017. “Being active duty military, we had a very transient lifestyle, so you don’t get to be with people for a very long time, you do, and then you have to go,” he said.
