Daniel D. Woods, born on March 19, 1949, in the wide-open spaces of South Dakota, decided to take his final joyride on June 1, 2025, at the age of 76, in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Born into a world with plenty of open sky and few fences, Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR and football. His favorite teams were the San Fransico 49’ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, you could hear his excitement from across the house when his team would score. He was a man who appreciated the simple pleasures, like the quiet patience of a day spent waiting for a fish to bite or the thrill of a well-placed shot.
