PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- A North Valley woman faces at least 20 years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday morning in connection with a deadly shooting in October 2023.

TNashia Wash, 20, pleaded to first-degree murder in Peoria County Circuit Court in connection with a plea agreement with prosecutors that capped her possible imprisonment at 35 years.

Without the deal, she would have faced up to 60 years in prison. If a jury had found she "personally discharged" the gun that killed Roderick Richardson, then she could have faced decades more.

On Oct. 16, 2023, Richardson, 30, was found inside a house in the 1200 block of North Ellis Street.
