CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A judge revoked the bond for a man charged in connection with a mass shooting at a Catawba County house party , saying the suspect is a "danger to the community" based on his ties to recent violent incidents. 58-year-old Shawn Hood was killed, and 11 others were hurt during the shooting.

Garon Nathaniel Killian, 20, was arrested earlier this week in connection with the June 1 shooting in the Mountain View community. He was out of jail after being given a $100,000 bond in connection with an April shooting where gunshots were fired in a crowd in a Hickory parking lot. Killian was charged with seven counts of attempted first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, going armed to the terror of the public, and discharging a firear
