LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a west Las Vegas crash Wednesday night.

Las Vegas Metro Police said the crash happened at Flamingo and Lindell at 11:50 p.m. The pedestrian was identified as a 33-year-old man.

The driver of a Ford Escape traveled westbound on Flamingo, west of Lindell. Police said the pedestrian was crossing Flamingo outside of a marked crosswalk.

The front right of the Ford hit the pedestrian. Medical arrived and transported him to UMC with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Ford stayed at the scene. Police said they showed no signs of impairment.

The crash remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metro Police’s Collision Investigation Section.
