BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Three Oregon consumers represented by OJC Law, P.C., partners of Oregon Consumer Justice, have brought suit against Grocery Outlet and operators of numerous locations throughout Oregon.
The complaint demands equitable relief and a jury trial, citing violations under the Unlawful Trade Practices Act. The focus of these violations is the alleged "widespread and coordinated scheme by Grocery Outlet Inc. and its affiliated Oregon operators to mislead consumers through the use of fictitious
'elsewhere' pricing," according to the documents.
Claire Elmer is investigating and has reached out to local stores named in the suit, the consumers' legal representatives, and the Better Business Bureau for comment. Her full report will air on KTVZ News.
