PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) - Two men are facing charges after police say security video captured them shooting at each other.

Portsmouth police received a Flock Gunshot Detection notification and several calls referring to shots fired in the 2400 block of Deep Creek Blvd. around 1:22 p.m. on June 4.

Officers responded and their investigation uncovered security video which showed two men shooting at each other at that location. Police located and charged two men, 45-year-old Dominique Mack and 35-year-old Montae Bowser.

Portsmouth Police charged Bowser with attempted malicious wounding, missile into an occupied building, and reckless handling of a firearm. Officers charged Mack with two counts of attempted malicious wounding, reckless handling of a firearm, and shooting across a roadway.
