Girls Gone BBQ , a Fayetteville barbecue restaurant owned and operated by pitmistress Dana Neely , announced that it will close later this month.

Originally from Des Arc, Neely founded the business in Seattle in 2008. She moved back to Arkansas in 2020 and opened the self-described Delta-style barbecue restaurant in 2022. One of the unique features of the eatery is that Neely provides several menu options for vegans and people suffering from alpha-gal syndrome, a red meat allergy that can be triggered by tick bites.
