NEW YORK (PIX11) -- With the weather warming up, New Yorkers might be looking for ways to cool down and what better way than with ice cream.

New York's favorite sign of summer, the Mister Softee ice cream truck, is back on the street and to make sure residents have time to grab their wallets and head to the door, the company has relaunched an interactive map to track the nearest truck.

The map available through the Mister Softee app, gives real-time updates on the location of every truck in the five boroughs.

Residents can type in their exact location to find the nearest truck or move around the map to explores.
