Iwouldn’t qualify, in most people’s minds, as an “early adopter.” When new technologies or products come out, I am open-minded, but usually I wait and see how things develop before buying.
Self-driving cars have been talked about for a few years. My reaction? “No thank you. Not me. Never.”
At the risk of sounding like the buggy whip manufacturer who said automobiles would never amount to anything, I have to say that the idea of self-driving cars is stupid.
This is a solution in search of a problem. Most people find driving to be doable, tolerable, even fun. If it weren’t, millions of people wouldn’t be doing it. They would be riding buses.
There is a lot of hype about self-driving cars. It’s all show biz.
Self-driving cars will, pant-pant, be ready in a year or so! Change the laws now
