COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing a four-time NFL MVP winner to its quarterback room for the 2025 season.

Multiple reports said that Aaron Rodgers is expected to sign a one-year contract with the Steelers ahead of the team's minicamp that begins next week. Rumors were swirling for months that the Super Bowl XLV MVP winner would sign with Pittsburgh as the Steelers continue to search for a successor to Ben Roethlisberger.

While the 41-year-old Rodgers is not the answer to the future at quarterback for the Steelers, he will be the starter to begin the 2025 season and likely teach young quarterbacks on the roster, including former Ohio State signal caller Will Howard.
