SCDOT to shift traffic to new Broad River Rd. bridge

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will shift traffic to the new Broad River Rd. bridge at the I-20 interchange. Both bridges will be open to traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, June 6.

This shift will allow crews to continue converting the Broad River Rd. at I-20 Interchange into a diverging diamond interchange traffic configuration. Law enforcement officers, flaggers, and temporary construction signs will be present to safely guide traffic through the work zone as the changes are made.

SCDOT asks drivers to slow down and pay attention to crews and signs when driving through the work zones.
