LOGAN TWP., Pa. (WTAJ) — A house went up in flames after a propane tank in the back of the house exploded.

Multiple fire crews and the Salvation Army were called to 417 S. Dartmouth Ln to investigate a fire coming from the back of the home. There was reportedly a blast that shattered the home's windows, prompting the homeowner to grab their dog and escape out the front door.

"I was in fourth grade when we moved here, so there's a lot of memories in this house," Stephanie Laubenstein, the daughter of the homeowners, said.

As crews were fighting the flames, the couple went next door to settle down in Kimmen Plumbing & Heating after the shock of the explosion. They are now worrying about what the next steps are.
