Two weeks after "Cheers" actor George Wendt passed away, his cause of death has now been revealed.
Wendt's immediate cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest on his death certificate, which was released by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health on Thursday.
The document was obtained by TMZ.
Congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease, and hypertension are also listed as underlying causes. Contributing conditions that affected Wendt were end-stage renal disease, which is known as kidney failure and hyperlipidemia, which is high cholesterol.
