SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - June 5 was the last day of school for the Sioux City Community School District. Students were able to let teachers go out with a splash.

A dunk tank was set up at East Middle, where students got a chance to soak some of the teachers.

Emily Fahrendholz, a teacher who organized the event, said this was the first time at East Middle.

“We like to reward our students at the end of the year for good grades and great behavior, and it’s always fun to get some admin in there. So it’s fun for the kids," said Fahrendholz, a 6th-grade world regions teacher

This is the second year Fahrendholz has set up a dunk tank, doing it previously at North Middle.
