CHAPEL HILL — UNC baseball will try to make consecutive College World Series appearances for the first time since 2008-09.

The No. 5 overall seed Tar Heels (45-13) take aim at Arizona (42-18) in the Chapel Hill Super Regional starting Friday, June 6 (Noon, ESPN2), at Boshamer Stadium. The best-of-three series continues June 7 (Noon, ESPN2), with the first team to two wins earning a trip to Omaha.

UNC and Arizona haven't met in the NCAA Tournament, but the Wildcats have a 3-2 record against the Tar Heels. The programs haven't played since 1990.
