LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - On Thursday, AARP hosted its yearly Summer Scam Jam event to arm local seniors with the tools they need to fight back against fraud. It’s an issue that’s getting worse, with billions of dollars lost every year to scammers.
“All of us need to work together about what’s really happening in this city and across this nation,” said Gerina Whethers, the Commonwealth Attorney in Jefferson County.
